This is one of my favorite Wrigley Field prints which gives the stadium a vintage, classic look. It is a real nice view of the entire ballpark from behind looking down on the front of the bleacher entrance.
Black and White aerial photography has become very popular among my work recently. I am not shooting just as much with black and white film as I do color.
The photo was taken from a small airplane during a sunny, summer day in which Cubs fans turned out to watch a great game
The picture was during a night game as the lights shined bright on the diamond. The clouds in the sky look as if they were painted on. I am particular happy about the way the clouds formed and the colors involved. It truly is a unique view of Wrigley Field.
My name is Bob Horsch and this is one of my Chicago photo blogs. Here I will showcase my art work from over the last 30 years and include a personal story that goes along with each photograph.
This blog is dedicated only to Wrigley Field photos, which can all be found at my Chicago photography website.
All the images you see on this blog were originally taken with color film. No photograph was taken with a digital camera, since I use a Pentax 645 medium format camera with various lenses. You can view the pictures posted in greater detail at my website.
Taking photographs of the city of Chicago is my one true passion and I have been fortunate to make it a life long career.
I have been taking photos of Chicago for nearly 30 years now and I am happy to have made a career out of doing what I love...taking photographs of the city of Chicago.
